The details that can change your whole trip.

  • Two cruises can look almost identical.

    Seattle or Vancouver. Round-trip or one-way. Glacier Bay or Hubbard Glacier. Small differences on paper can change the whole shape of an Alaska trip.

  • A beautiful itinerary can still be exhausting.

    How often you change hotels, how far you travel between stops, and what happens before and after the cruise matter more than they look on paper.

  • More expensive isn't always better.

    Sometimes spending more changes the experience. Sometimes it doesn't. I'll help you understand the difference.

It starts with a complimentary, relaxed discovery call about who's going, where you're dreaming, and what you'd rather not think about. If we decide we're a good fit, I'll send you an engagement agreement outlining the scope of my services and any applicable professional planning fee. Once the agreement is signed and any required fee is paid, I'll begin the substantive research, comparisons, and itinerary design for your trip. I design the routes, ships, hotels, and pacing with room for revisions. Once you approve the plan, I coordinate the details, prepare you for what comes next, and remain available throughout your journey. You get one trusted advisor from the first conversation until you're home.

Not every booking involves a planning fee. Straightforward cruises and vacation packages often don't. For itineraries that require substantial custom research or complex multi-destination logistics, I use a planning fee to compensate for the professional work involved, research, design, and coordination that happens before anything is booked. When a fee applies, it's outlined in the engagement agreement along with the scope of my services, so you can decide if it's the right fit. Substantive planning begins once the agreement is signed and any required fee is paid.

Booking is the easy part. The hard part is knowing which ship, route, cabin, and hotel actually fit how you travel, and how the pieces connect. I've sailed Alaska six times and been aboard more than 20 river ships, so I know where two trips that look identical on paper turn out very differently. You get one advisor from the first call until you're home.

Yes. I hold the IBCCES Certified Autism Travel Professional (CATP) credential, and as the mother of a child with special needs, this work is personal to me. I plan with an eye toward the details that aren't always obvious, whether that's pacing for a multigenerational group with different energy levels or preparing for needs that don't show up on a standard packing list. The same principle applies here as everywhere else I plan: I start with your family, not a generic accessibility checklist.
